Welcome to CLIMATE CHANGE BALMAIN-ROZELLE, an independent collective of local residents who share serious concerns about the planet future generations will inherit due to ever increasing greenhouse gas emissions.

As the science surrounding global warming continues to flood in, we despair at the continued inadequate action by our political leaders, and in particular at the current state government's massive expansion of the coal industry.

CCBR is totally independent
CCBR is a volunteer group that is not funded or steered by any private or government body.  Donations can be channelled directly into our community projects eg: installing solar panels on the rooftops of local schools.

CCBR's Campaigns for 2010:

1. No New Coal-fired power stations in NSW.
2. A rapid and fair transition to 100% renewable energy in Australia.

CCBR has always had two primary goals:

1. Say NO to a future fuelled by coal. We are speaking out against the alarming moves to increase the size of the greenhouse-polluting coal industry in NSW.
2. Green power for everyone in our area.We are committed to helping all members of our community make the switch to affordable green electricity options and reducing their energy consumption.

What can you do....

Collectively we can make change happen - but we need to re-ignite the democratic process and start talking to the decision makers ...our politicians.
